Certainly not music to his ears, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z's publishing company Roc Nation is getting rocked with a lawsuit for trademark infringement.
According to the Volcom complaint, the "99 Problems" hitmaker has been asked numerous times to cease and desist since first using the logo for his imprint in 2009.
Now, the Costa Mesa, CA-based manufacturer, who has reportedly spent over $100 million on advertising and branding since its founding in 1991, is taking Mr. Carter to court to keep him from continuing to use its logo.
This isn?t the first time HOV?s been sued over diamonds, back in 2005, professional wrestler Page Falkinburg sued the MC after he claimed Jay had ?illegally adopted his trademark hand gesture?.
