As painful as it was to watch, one unlucky couple had to be the first to get voted off Dancing with the Stars. So which season 13 dancing dup was booted out of the ballroom?
After an awkward opening cha-cha, Ron Artest -- now known as Metta World Peace -- and dancing pro Peta Murgatroyd couldn't summon enough votes to overcome their last-place finish from Monday night. But the Los Angeles Laker, who had announced he was dancing in honor of his cancer-surviving daughter Diamond, didn't seem too upset by the news.
"Who's coming with me?" he asked after his name was called. "Everybody give a round of applause to Peta -- she was awesome!"

But the results were a close call for two other couples with mediocre first dances: Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus and Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke rounded out the night's bottom three.
As to be expected after their rousing opening performance, Chaz Bono and Lacey Scwhimmer received the most applause when declared safe earlier in the evening. Although they finished in the middle of the pack, the support for the couple was undeniable.
Looking at next week, the best-positioned partners are J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff and Chynna Phillips anda Tony Dovolani, who finished at the top of the leader board. Who do you think will be the next couple eliminated from the competition? Which couple could go all the way?
