Jane Kaczmarek ?Whitney? Interview

The amazingly talented Jane Kaczmarek guest stars on ?Whitney? tonight. The actress plays Whitney?s mom and boy are fans in for some good times. I was lucky enough to participate in a Q&A interview with Jane the other day and even though I could barely talk because I had laryngitis it was awesome. Jane started off by telling us about how she got involved in the show and it was actually pretty simple. She and Peter Gallagher, who plays Whitney?s dad, were simply asked which as Kaczmarek said ? is the best way to get a job.? Candy is the name of Jane?s character, who has quite the hostile relationship with Whitney?s dad Vince. The premise behind the episode is that Whitney is trying to keep her parents apart because she doesn?t want Christmas destroyed like the ones she had as a child, of course mayhem ensues. Kaczmarek revealed that she has not yet met Whitney?s mother but acknowledge that she seems to be quite the character. I was fortunate enough to get a one on one chat with Jane.
